In preparation for the university closure for the winter break, the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III application (HEERF III) has been temporarily suspended. The application will become available on January 3, 2022 for impacted students who have not yet received HEERF III funding.

At this time, UCF has exhausted the student grant portion of the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) III. Therefore, the application is no longer available.

With the funding provided by the Higher Education Emergency Relief Funding III, the university has been able to provide emergency grants to over 40,000 students.

If you have been negatively financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, you may qualify for Higher Education Emergency Relief Funds (HEERF III).

UCF students who are U.S. Citizens, Permanent U.S. Residents or Non-Citizens eligible for federally funded student aid must complete a 2021-2022 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for these emergency funds and should complete the application found below.

International students and/or students who are classified as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) or Temporary Protected Status (TPS), please complete the application found at this link:

The current HEERF application will remain open until further notice. Application review will begin during the week of August 23, 2021.

For the current round of funding, Spring 2022 enrollment is required. Prior COVID-19 impacted semesters of enrollment may be considered at a later date, contingent on available funding.
