Business Communication in English
The goal of the online Business Communication in English course is to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate and excel in global business environments. By understanding cultural dimensions and communication styles, students will be better prepared to engage in professional interactions across cultures. This course is designed for high-intermediate/advanced English language learners who seek to develop their intercultural competence in business and workforce contexts.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Analyze cultural dimensions and communication styles that influence professional interactions in global business environments.
- Demonstrate effective oral communication in English for common business contexts, including meetings, presentations, and professional discussions.
- Adapt spoken communication strategies to interact appropriately with culturally diverse colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- Use digital communication platforms professionally (e.g., video conferencing, virtual meetings, and collaborative tools) to participate effectively in business communication in the digital era.
- Apply advanced English vocabulary and discourse strategies to convey ideas clearly, persuasively, and professionally in international workplace settings.
