BIOGRAPHY
Jennifer DeSalvo Haddad is the Director of Business Partnerships and Community Initiatives at UCF Global. With 30+ years of experience in education and a Master’s degree in Intercultural Studies, Curriculum and Literacy from Boston University, she has established herself as a successful professional in Central Florida.
Currently, Jennifer cultivates internal and external partnerships at UCF, engaging local communities, governments and businesses in development initiatives to elevate the awareness of UCF programs and meet the needs of the surrounding communities. She amplifies academic and community-customized programs, fostering valuable relationships and promoting positive change in the local community. Jennifer specializes in program management and customized program development, bringing essential language programs that contribute to broad-based prosperity in our communities, ensuring residents, employees and local institutions thrive.
Her expertise in building and maintaining partnerships is evident through her work at UCF Global, where she has played a key role in projects such as the Orange County Government-funded EPIC Pilot Program, the UCF Global Community English Program (CEP), and the English for Employees Program partnering with local businesses such as the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA)/Orlando International Airport, Amazon, and the City Beautiful to name a few. With a keen understanding that partnerships among private, public and research institutions are gateways to growth, both professionally and personally, the program’s Jennifer oversees ensure our residents and local institutions thrive and that we continue to strengthen our communities and grow our local economy.
A firm believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace, Jennifer continually develops innovative ways to cultivate collaborative initiatives, strengthen work relationships, and create work environments that are productive, creative, and energized.
