PROGRAM STRUCTURE
Students attend 23 hours of class per week, Monday through Friday. This includes grammar, reading, writing, communication skills, and an elective course.
To finish a level, students must successfully complete the four core courses for that level. The IEP consists of 10 levels; completion of level 8 meets the UCF English proficiency requirement.

In order to be admitted to the program you must be at least 16 years old, and provide the documents listed below:

Fall, Spring and Summer classes are from 9AM – 3PM EST Monday through Thursday and 9AM – 12PM EST Friday.

The CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions can be found here. Accredited programs and institutions are expected to continue to meet the CEA Standards during the term of accreditation. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What will my schedule look like?
In general, students take 5 classes per session. These include Reading, Writing, Grammar, Communication Skill, and an elective course.
How do I know which level will I be in?
During orientation week, all new students are required to take an English Level Placement Test. The results decide which level is best suited for your level of proficiency.
Do I have to pay for books?
Yes, books are NOT included in the overall tuition and fees of the Intensive English Program.
Am I able to work while in the Intensive English Program?
In general, students can work on-campus for 20 up to 20 hours a week. Jobs can be found using the Handshake portal or by visiting different locations on campus to see if they are hiring.
Am I eligible for scholarships while in the Intensive English Program?
Students in the Intensive English Program are not eligible for scholarships.
What is the expected time to get accepted into the Intensive English Program?
The turn around time is between 2 – 3 business days. Please keep in mind this is only to receive an acceptance letter. Once you have obtain an acceptance letter, you may begin the process of obtaining an I-20.
When can I obtain an I-20?
The I-20 is generated after an acceptance letter is issued.
What is the cost of the Intensive English Program?
The cost of the program is per session. Each session costs $2,657.05 (8 weeks Fall & Spring and 6 weeks during the Summer). Also, please note that housing and insurance is not included in tuition and is the responsibility of the student to secure.
How do I obtain housing?
